Rockbridge Community Church of the Nazarene is a family-centered place of worship offering ways for every member of the family to connect and grow.
One of our goals at RCCN is to help you, as a believer in Christ, grow in your relationship with Him. We believe this can be done through a variety of ways. One of those is through studying God's word with other believers to see what He has to say to you as an individual.
Join us for Sunday Morning Connection each Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m.
We believe that worshipping God is vital to everyone's Christian walk. So, we have purposed to become a multi-generational congregation committed to praising our Savior. We utilize music, drama, and multimedia to enhance our worship experiences.
Worship with us Sundays at 10:30 a.m.
Help a Child Experience Worship
Jesus said, "Let the children come to me, and do not stop them, because the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these." Mark 10:14b
- Greet children warmly to make them feel included.
- Sit near the front or at the aisle so your child can see.
- Share points in the bulletin that pertain to your family.
- Encourage your child to participate with the available musical instruments and help them to read the words as you sing.
- Allow children to give an offering of their own, no matter how small.
- Allow and encourage your child to participate in the Sacrament of Communion.
We believe our children are disciples in training, not disciples in waiting.
Our children's ministry wants to make a difference in the lives of children by reaching out in effective and creative ways that communicate the love of Jesus.
During our worship services, our children are encouraged to be children. They are creative through playing instruments and engaging with our teens, young adults, and adults.
J.U.M.P. (Jesus Understands My Praise) is available for children from birth to age 3 for the entirety of service.
Sunday Morning Connection at 9:30 a.m. includes a meeting of ages 4 (potty trained and weaned) through third graders in J.A.M. (Jesus and Me).
During the message, 4 and 5 year olds (potty trained and weaned) return to J.A.M. for additional opportunities to craft and learn.
The H.U.B. (Hearing, Understanding, Believing) is a fun place for fourth and fifth graders to grow in their relationship with The Lord while learning to serve others. H.U.B. kids meet during Sunday Morning Connection at 9:30 a.m.
Shema Action Ministries (S.A.M.) is our student ministry for middle and high school teens. We firmly believe that teenagers are not merely the future of the Church but a vital and vibrant part of the church today.
Join us Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. for a time of growing in our knowledge of The Bible, fun among friends, and probably a few tasty treats. Keep an eye on the calendar for special events!
The Caring Ministry is designed to encourage and strengthen the church body through meeting the needs of our congregation during difficult life circumstances. Volunteers in our congregation pour out the love of Christ for those in need by serving meals, providing child care, lawn care, home maintenance, auto repair, and wood for fuel.
Who do you follow? What's your "true north?"
Convene with other women of the church to dive deeper into God's Word and find the absolute true north. Laugh with us, have fun, get serious, and receive and give encouragement. We aren't called to do life alone, so don't. Join us.
Please refer to the calendar for meeting dates and locations, or contact Ellen Willis at email@example.com for further information.
Our purpose is to help men grow into fully devoted followers of Christ and become the spiritual leaders within their homes that God has called them to be. We believe that God has gifted the men of the church with skills that will help others and edify the body of Christ. We engage and equip our men through one on one discipleship, fellowship meals, Bible studies, and service projects.
Bridge to Hope Food Pantry is open to all who need nourishment. Make your way to our doorstep Mondays between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m.
