A group gathered each Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. during Lent. Together they worked their way through Water for the Way, a devotional for the Lenten season. Now that Lent is over, some of you may be thinking the group has stopped gathering.
FALSE.
Coming together to dive deeper into The Bible is essential, and the gathering of minds at 9:30 a.m. on Sundays have continued.
Pastor Scott delivers a message each Sunday. Hopefully, those of us who hear the message ponder it from time to time throughout the week. When the following Sunday morning rolls around, we gather to reflect on the previous message and hopefully expound upon it. Then it's time for a new message at 10:30 a.m.
Bring your coffee and bagel (or a few, if you want to share). Feel free to bring a Bible or use one of ours if you'd like to look up verses or follow along. This is a no-pressure gathering. You're not expected to speak, but you're absolutely welcome to.
Great news! They're welcome for the study, too, although ...
Kids Ministry is BACK!
During the 9:30 a.m. devotional, children and youth (Kindergarten age and older) will have a similar time of recalling the last message, but in ways that apply to them.
Here's the kicker: We need volunteers.
When our ministry to children and youth relaunch on Sunday, May 7, all ages will be learning together. This will be fine for a minute, but not long term. Ideally, we'd like to divide the children into age groups (elementary, middle, and high), but we need adults to lead them. Is that you? If so, please talk to me and let's get rolling.
