Inaugural Trunk or Treat at Rockbridge Community Church

BUENA VISTA, Va. (October 20, 2023) – Set to coincide with downtown Buena Vista’s business Spooktacular event, Rockbridge Community Church of the Nazarene will welcome candy seekers and their families with even more treats and an affordable meal.

On October 31 from 5 to 7 p.m., visitors to 906 Magnolia Avenue will be greeted with decorated trunks and costumed hosts giving away candy as well as non-edible treats. After guests make their rounds outside, they are encouraged to step inside where an affordable meal of hot dogs, chips, and drinks awaits.

“Our doors are always open to our neighbors, and we’re excited to host this first Trunk or Treat as one more way to welcome them,” said Pastor Scott Beattie.

Trunk or Treat at Rockbridge Community Church will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on October 31 to overlap Spooktacular and give families an easy and cheap supper option. All proceeds from food and beverage sales will benefit the youth and children’s ministry at Rockbridge Community Church of the Nazarene.
