What I do: See a need, fill a need was something I could grab on to early in my church journey. I love working with children, finance, worship, and being involved in church leadership planning. God pressed on me for a week to head up our food pantry and I have had to hold the reins tight ever since as He has blown the doors open wide for this mission. I am forever grateful to be a part of it and serve our community.
Where I'm From: I have lived in Rockbridge County most of my life with short stints in the surrounding counties.
A Little about my family: I am married and I have three grown sons, a daughter-in-love, and five grandbabies. We are pretty down-to-earth, close-knit, and live simply.
One thing you should know about me: I am naturally introverted. Church life didn't come easy and I have to stay busy. I have been so blessed to be a part of this church family where we all care about each other. They have become part of my family.
A few of my favorite things: I like dirt. I have a small hobby farm where I can garden, keep my hands busy making things and watch how God works in nature. My heart sings when I see little sprouts from seed and I am reminded how far He has grown me and how far I will continue to grow in His care. Imperfectly perfect in His sight.
